I got into a great school of bunkers today. I couldn't find the label bunker so I tagged it as a bluefish. I was targeting bluefish but there was such a large school of bunker than it was even hard to cast through it. I used some as bait and still no hook up. I was fishing the Jones Beach Inlet,the exact spot was Point Lookout Beach. Temp 63, little to no wind and slight rain.

      I feel like I live in that awkward intermediate area where all the fish north of me are a lot bigger and all the fish south of me are huge

      Ya we get a lot of those in the bay and the inlets but not near that big
