Just before Christmas. Almost 14#. 34 inches. Starting to itch, season starts Saturday. Btw these all go back.

  It's a right place right time thing. They are feeding heavy. Storm swim shad I'd what I use. Big and heavy so u can whip it. We fish them from shore. Slow ...more retrieve. They suck it right in. Tight lines.

  What kind of swim bait? I do well sometimes on ripple shads. Always good for an eater or two at least.
