Punching matted vegetation nailed it on the initial fall...sunny, in the 80's, stained water, pre front.

  Man I hate that place everywhere I have been on that lake was terrible water clarity and never even got a bite...been up luce bayou all the way to the dam and never ...more once seen a fish in the boat

  We were actually fishing for perch then decided to try the bass and caught 2 right away then didnt get a bite for awhile and the storm ran us off @ChanceHuiet
