fishing from a culvert, bumped and dropped one last time 2ft from bank and she blew it up! literally snapped my rod in half. trying to finish the job by hand earned me some fairly deep braid slots in my fingers. I couldn't let up and drug this girl up the bank! NEW PB FOR ME!! just under 8.5 on my trusty spring scale.

wc1183 0public or private pond. that is a toad for a kingwood pond. I've fished quite a few of the ponds around here but never caught anything close to that size.
