So this will be the first year that I am going after flatheads with a line and real any suggestions such as hooks, line, leaders, weight or no weight? Any tips or suggestions will be helpful thank you.

      Drop shot rig. 5/0 hook, 50lb braid, 2 ounce sinker and a bobber 2 feet above the hook. Suspended bobber rig. Live bluegill or carp are perfect

      I have found that they like rocks in deep pools. for bait I would use live bluegill or another baitfish. for hooks it depends on the size of fish. smaller fish 3/0-6/0 ...more bigger maybe a 7/0-9/0 circle ho
