Got a big hen yesterday morning on the pink Ray Charles (sow pattern). Put up a great fight, the water is still low and clear. I was using a 9' 5weight rod, 9' 4x leader, 4x tippet, a San Juan, my pink Ray Charles, and a small midge, I had 1 size BB splitshot on, and my indicator was about 5' above my splitshot. Had an 8" section of 4x from my splitshot to my first fly and 8" between flies.
