Fished with a half (sometimes a full) nightcrawler on a size 10 hook. We began to jerk the worm once it reached the bottom, and sometimes just let it settle at the bottom (which is how we caught this one). I caught around 10 but had many other bites where I missed the hook set. Water was pretty clear at about 4 feet visibility, wind speed 5 mph, water temp in the upper 40's, and partly cloudy.
