Like this little 15" rod a lot . Great for inside the fish house and it's fun reeling up fish on it .

Sensitive rods are the way to go

But I do occasionally still use them but like I said I've got some rods with really sensitive tips that i can see the lightest bites with still

Have you heard of the meat stick ? Well it's got a really sensitive tip but a stiff back bone, I stop using spring bobbers because of my line getting caught ...more on them or them not staying straight .

It's a titanium tip that slides out of the rod for a spring bobber, and slides in for bigger fish, they work awesome for really lite bites @Cale

Ones with a spring bobber on a rod or a tip that's really light like a spring bobber ? @walleye72
