Long run.... But fruitful We had to spread out our tip ups far from camp because of the thin ice. Fished on 10' of water. Ice was 5" thick

      When a fish bites and pulls line out, that spins the trigger on the tip-up which allows the flag to fly up.

      @MulletHead yeah kinda. You drill holes with an ice auger about 30 yards apart around the pop up shacks/grill/and gear and then put in tip-ups. Tip-ups are basically ...more a dead stick stand alone device.

      So you you setup a shanty then have a bunch of other holes around it? Holes don't freeze up? Never been ice fishing but looks fun
