January Smallmouth: Most black bass are being caught near steam plants or wherever there is a steady current of water 50° or warmer. In rivers and creeks they are being caught downstream in deeper pools near the bottom by rocks, brush, and timber. On large resovoirs they are suspending off primary and secondary points, feeding off dying shad. On warmer days they are shallower feeding on ⬇️⬇️
