  It is a good reel the only problem is that the braking settings are sensitive and can backlash easily if you don't pay attention to the settings @bassmaster021

  Yes even with the Maxbrake setting on and casting into the wind it casts really far @bassmaster021

  It is a really nice Rod but I haven't used it yet and probably won't get a chance anytime soon because the weather here is Texas is really cold @htgaddis_
