Has anyone used this reel, any good reviews? Trying to find an easy Christmas present for myself, haha. Thinking about trying this out. Need some input!

      And some have concept a and c. Those reels have been dunked and everything when wade fishing. They clean up great man. @krazy_kayaker

      Dude the whole line of concept reels are built for saltwater man. Curosion resistant bearings and spool. The gears are brass until you get into the higher end concept ...more c and kp. I work on buddy's reels

      Haha, okay. I use my h2oxpress mettle in salt, just make sure I wipe it down after and I haven't had any real issues. @TexasAngler89 @krazy_kayaker

      It's something to do with the pinion gear not being properly alighned on the yolk

      Just read a review and the reel doesn't have a smooth retrieve to it. Several people already took them back.

      Honest man I would just spend the extra money. I've never seen a reel that lite before cost so little. Don't know how well it would hold up for you. But ...more check out the 13 fishing concept a @RogerDale

      I absolutely love it for freshwater. Took it out wading for a weekend and it began to make some odd noises and wouldn't cast as far even though I cleaned it ...more thoroughly after every trip.
