today was a day of firsts! First bass from my kayak, first time fishing Lake Bastrop and first bass on a Lunker Hunt frog! 68℉ no wind, all in 4'-6', overcast. Ended up with 6 fish on 3 different lures; the frog (black), H2O jointed shad swimbait and a Grande Bass 4.75" rattlesnake in watermelon with red flake. Bite was real aggressive so I don't think it would have mattered what I threw!
