I don't have a ton of experience in this lure type any tips? Going to have to get used to them for winter bassin.

  I've never fished it and here people either love it or hate it but I would do what @TennesseeTroutboy said and use worms with a bright tip and light weights ...more so the sink slower and fish around any sort

  I like to use smaller heads and use finesse worms with a bright tip my favorite is Junevug with a chartreuse tip
