  Thanks everyone. Ya I've noticed a lot of the pond fish in Florida are darker. Not sure why? Maybe because the water is darker?

  That is a Coppernose Bluegill. You can tell by the copper tint band across his forehead. Normally not that dark for sure! Nice fish!!!
