  A channel has up to 29 sections in the fin and blue has 30+ and isn't as rounded.

  I found a close up pic and counted the little ridges in the anal fin, and it's a blue for sure. The color of the fish is darker in this pic than the other pics, ...more so I see what you're saying.

  Yeah blues and channels can getting confusing because of their forked tails

  Hey man I don't know if it's just me or a weird coloration but that looks Like a channel.
