  I like a five or six weight and fishing weighted streamers or poppers for this time of the year.

  Fly fishing bass would be smart to have a 8 wt rod and reel plus a longer leader and tippit and popper and streamer flies

  Poppers work the best for me. It's also really fun to see the bigger bass blow up on it on the top water

  I just got my first popper and wooly bugger and they work great

  Wooly bugger or any larger streamer. Maybe even a popper in the morning
