Needed someone to put tension on my spool while filling my reels and no one was available so came up with this. Very easy to make. Instructions below: Material: 5/8 in threaded rod (2 ft) 2 5/8 in nuts 4 5/8 in washers ( the biggest ones they have that are that diameter) 2 springs ( size can very depending on pressure) Assembling: Nut, washer,spring, washer, spool, washer,spring, nut, washer

      This one will produce a solid 30lbs of pressure with max tension but to achieve that pressure you need someone to hold the base or put a heavy weight on the bottom. ...more Don't need the base unless your DIY
