Saw him laying over some rocks near the drainage or the water treatment facility, and I honestly didn't think he would take it cuz it was so small but he did and put up a nice fight.

      It's the same fly I used for my rio grandes, they seem to tear it up every time I can find them. I believe the fly I used for the gar was a smaller version though. ...more @austin1234

      I was extremely surprised he went for it because it was so small, but it was a great fight
