Finally got back on the bama bass! Went down to Smith Lake to my favorite spot (a huge grass flat) and used the water red chart lizard by Zoom. I was casting it about 20 yards in and about 4 FOW. I would let it sink for 5 seconds and then slow retrieve through the grass. Whenever I felt a heavy weight on my line I would set the hook. It was hot, 91* and 83* water temp. We got 7 bass overall!
