Nothing better than and early morning topwater strike !! Casting a black jitterbug parallel to weed lines and lily pads in about 5 ft of cool water. The aggressive topwater bites stopped at around 8:30 am. Didnt weigh or measure this toad but id be safe to say i hit the 3 lb club with my new PB largemouth.
