I bass fish like I catfish with live bait lol while bait fishing any bluegill that's to small for catfishin we just throw on a small gamagatsu circle hook 12 lb mono below a bobber maybe 2-3 ft then wait I love watchin bass slam the bluegill the water is so clear you can sometimes see the chase!
