Sunny 82* caught early in the morning bass were all grouped together feeding on shad up in the shallows in less than 1 FOW clear skies and minimal wind water clarity was decent bass were very active on the surface

      Yes this late bass tend to float in mid air presenting the "cricket" action, it triggers the clown faze where suddenly the shad, turtles, really any bait ...more comes toward the bass as it oozes it's juice

      That fish is probably like maybe a pound. It wouldn't be guarding anything anyways, it would be the one eating them😂

      Then the males move away and do what they normally do, not guard them anymore.

      You don't know what your talking about man, bass aren't "guarding fry" this late in the year. They only guard them shortly after they hatch.
