I was walking along the bank spot fishing for bass and this bull slowly swam out of the grass and circled around towards the water treatment facility drainage. I threw the crank in front of her and twitched it until she inhaled it. She is the biggest bass I've ever caught and I estimated her to be around 5 lbs and 18".

      It was around 630 so it wasn't too hot and I didn't even really bother with the bait balls because I was having more success fishing the edge of the grass.

      Time of day? I was in that part the other day but didn't get but a few bites it was hot as you know what! Got a bad sunburn though and 3 fish down by the main ...more bridge with cranks in the bait balls.
