just got back from a several day beach trip. Got some info from some locals about some reds entering a flat every night feeding on crabs and whatever they can find to eat. Lots of rain the past days helped cool the water making the reds more active.We would work our jerkbait until it hit the bottem and then just steadly reel it when they would pick it up.
