Got this pike around 30". Casted for a few hours on the Muskegon above Hardy Dam. The bite was slow, but as a whole we managed several nice crappie, some **** largemouth and several decent northerns.

      Unseasonably cold nights and mornings on the 4th and one or two days before probably shut down the hot bite while we were there. 40 degrees that morning!

      4th of July. We were hoping to locate some walleye, maybe next time. Fishing a steep drop off on the other side of a thick weedline. Good casts meant you were just ...more over the weeds.
