Late morning, sunny mid 70's,1-2 FOW,heavy weeds. First fish of the day 1.8lbs. Just walking the frog with occasional pauses wasn't working. Reeling the frog in quickly seemed to be what did it and landed this guy. I guess before the temps get up enough they are in to a chase rather than just ambushing.if your frog or lure isn't working vary the retrieve ou might get different results
