Came across a creek with a nice submerged brush pile in the mouth, fish suspended in the heart of the brush. I flipped jigs, I tossed TX rigged worms and couldn't buy a bite. We noticed shad fleeing across the surface so I switched to a gizzard shad colored chatterbait and this guy slammed it within a few casts. Just shows that matching the available forage is key.
