80* overcast with a lot of wind caught in 6 fow casting at an island of reeds and didn't catch any casted out where I saw one tail and popped it hard and waited 3 seconds did that several times and he nailed it. That kicked up a feeding frenzy. There was a big storm in the area for 3 days so they weren't biting and it opened up for one day and the hard pops were perfect for getting them to bite
