saw little shad swimming around underneath Lilly bass, so I decided go match the hatch today with a storm wild eye shad. in two casts I landed two bass back to back. the key was to throw the shad between two batches of lilly pads and use a slow retrieve. the bass we're hanging out under the shade of the pads. 89° out partly cloudy.
