Fish lived and swam off fine. Bled a lot for being hooked in the tongue

  It happens. I usually hold em in the water til they stop bleeding. When the water is cold, that doesn't take long but when it's warm you gotta sit there ...more for a while. Worth it though.

  @FishForFood I guess lol. Fished for 2 hours after that catch and it never came up and died. I held it in the water to regain oxygen and it swam away normal. Idk ...more why it bled so much
