Quick trip to the pond about an hour before sunset. I started fishing over thick grass with a standard bladed buzzbait and had lots of short strikes with no hookups. Switched over to a Tri-bladed buzzbait to allow me to fish more slowly, put on a trailer hook, then tipped it with a grub for extra scent and action. Sure enough, I started hooking up. Switch it up until you find what works.
