Caught this bluegill and this water snake followed the fish up on land, struck it twice then tried to eat it all the while still hooked, realized that it had no chance of swallowing it moved to the side

      I know it's an old post but are those venomous? I've seen ppl call em water snakes but they look like water moccasins. Still new to Texas after 5 years
