Looks like a carp but I think this is a smallmouth buffalo; measured 19 inches. There were a bunch of these fish holding right in front of some fast moving water. I dead drifted my fly pattern and nabbed this one. These fish are so fun to fight with light outfits like my 5 wt! I got at least 5 other bites but they all came loose.
