I caught a 28 inch 2 pound sturgeon in 10 FOW with a medium action rod spin cast, 2/0 octopus circle hook and a 1/2 ounce sinker. Had a tag on it so the state of Missouri will pay $25-$150 for information about the fish. The sturgeon seemed weak so I cut the tag off and immediately released it.
