Another bucket mouth from last night... Hook went through the gills and she was bleeding heavy. Had her out of the water less than a minute.Do they usually make full recovery from injuries like that?

      Keep Mountain Dew on the boat surprisingly it'll stop and clot the bleeding if you pour it over the affected area but she was probably fine

      Water really helps stop the bleeding quickly, best thing you can do is put them back in. Probably lived

      It really depends on how bad the injury was. A bass that size should survive though.
