  For them to eat. So if it doesn't heal in time, eventually they starve. If you wanna hold it horizontally, just put a hand on the belly or tail or somn to take ...more the pressure off the jaw.

  Yea I hadn't either until I posted a picture like that on this app lol. I looked it up and it's legit though. They don't die immediately, but the broken ...more jaw cripples them and makes it really difficult

  @AllWaterLife I've never heard of that. It didn't die it swam off as healthy as when we caught it

  Make sure not to hold it at that angle, it breaks the fish's jaw ultimately killing it.
