This is a pleco aka armored catfish, if seen in a pond contact Texas parks and wildlife. They are an invasive species wreaking havoc on our natural lake and river stream ecosystems. Be on the look out

      Independence park in Missouri city is loaded with them. Fish with night crawlers and you won't be able to keep them off

      Eh that's debatable, in takes yes. However they cause way more damage, and in my experience they haven't clean up my ponds, mine our still algae filled and ...more nasty, they just aren't good in the wild for

      No @TexasAngler7 they are trying to figure out a way to get rid of them though with out hurting natural species
