Water temp around 65° and crystal clear water. Depth 8 feet. When the inshore gags get a little finicky I like to get the livest pinfish possible. Their erratic swimming seems to fire them up.

      Most people find them by fishing for reds and snook during the winter with whitebait. Instead of just throwing big pinfish at random docks and not catching anything ...more for long periods of time. @fishwizard52

      Docks and find structure so you have to fish alot of docks to find the ones holding structure and fish.

      Alot of trial and error. One dock might hold them and the docks beside them nothing. There has to be some type of structure to hold them there. Our water here isn't ...more clear enough to just look around

      What do you look for when targeting gags that way? I've heard of fishing docks for them.
