we were jigging sorta light till the fish came up on the jig then we slowed the jigging way down or stopped completely that's how we were getting bites

after using a flasher for jigging this weekend I'd say a flasher is almost a must to stay on fish.. we also were using tungsten jigs with lime green plastics... ...more didn't have any bites on minnows

Crappies don't like a lot of jigging or movement they get scared/skittish. So lite jigging . Or just have the minnow on a bobber line free swimming.

Small demon jigs with small crappie minnow hooked threw the back on a bobber line. Crappies are usually suspended off the bottom so keep adjusting depths roll you ...more find them
