Misting rain, 100% cloud cover, about 70-75 degrees. Threw fly out in front of bass and he hit it. 5-6 pounds released after picture

      yes it is. and the water is pretty cold right now so they aren't really hitting the top but I do come to Florida and fly fish a lot so I will try that out. thanks ...more for the tips! @FloridaFly

      I fish topwater flies and catch fish year round here in Florida both fresh and salt. But that's cause the water never really gets that cold.

      Light rain cloudy and about 65 is my favorite time to fish. How warm is the water because you should be able to throw a couple topwater flies and get some action.
