Went to a small parking lot pond in the middle of Daytona a block away from the speedway before a cold front. I saw this fat boy sitting in a shopping cart berried in the mud in the water.

      Ya it depends wat kind if waterway you go too I have a pond Dow the street and it has lighter and duller green bass and some even have stripes @hatemore

      ..general term, and doesn't cover one species. Just like down South, the term "Bream" or "Brim" covers Bluegill, Pumpkinseeds, etc. 😉

      Our largemouth down here don't have any stripes either but defiantly lighter in color. Spotted bass is the only bass with any markings on them here.

      No @hatemore it's a largemouth that the city most likely stocked in that pond, stocked bass are a duller green and usually don't have stripes like wild bass
