Caught a Alligator Gar on Sam Rayburn Reservoir using a cut shad

Was fishing for cats when I had a good run and reeled this guy in. He was a fun catch, but would have preferred a nice blue or flathead!

  gar is the only local fish I have not caught here in my area its depressing lol
