Does anyone know what species this is? The only thing I can think of is a mud darter.

      I don't think the dorsal fin goes back far enough to be a bowfin. The creek I caught it in does seem like a perfect bowfin habitat though. Never heard if them ...more there though.

      That's what I thought man! But it has no teeth. Do juvenile bowfin lack teeth?
