Braunig reds should be running very soon and that is 3 hours of insanity. It is a blast catching those horses on 12lb test and rod and reel. They pull my boat around ...more easy

I read choke is turning on a little. You should give the lake in seguin a try. They fish like Dunlap and the queen and not very much boat traffic.

Will probably start hitting Canyon Lake or lakes around the Austin area. I know Lake Austin produces some really nice fish. Lake Dunlap is getting nuts with traffic ...more now that school is out.

Yea but you need a Four wheel drive to get the boat of the ramp. At the least bring a two strap just in case. I have a 4x4 Chevy and have now trouble getting my ...more 19ft skeeter out of the lake.

I hear ya. Can you still launch out of Red's? It's been months since we've been out there.

I fish medina all the time but you are right, it is shrinking fast. It is sad to see. I live 25 minutes from the lake and driving across town is getting expensive.

That's exactly what my buddy and I are finding out. Started fishing Dunlap this year because Medina Lake has become a puddle. Back to the drawing board. Lol!!

I don't fish either lake in the summer because the ski boats are crazy and dangerous on both lakes

Nice one, buddy!! Would you say recreational traffic is about the same on Lake McQueeney and Dunlap?
