Dark color crank bait have been working great for me!

Try spoons I always catch bass on them and when you reel back in dont go so fast keep it a nice steady pace and make sure it's not on the surface so much keep ...more it at mid range under water

Worms like that are really good for late summer. But spinner baits are great right now but the weather conditions have to be right. From what I've seen that ...more work the best with high wind and dark water

      Crankbaits burn them

I have been catching them off crankbaits anywhere from 3 to 15ft down. If the are on there bed you could use a wacky worm set up or throw heavy flipping jig.

However, weightless worms have always worked for me. Try Lake Fork Trophy Lure Hyperstick or Crawdad lure. Use a nice bouncing action by flipping the rod

If the bass haven't layed yet they may not be as active. As soon as they lay though, anything will work. I typically use spinners and rooster tails with a good ...more steady retrieve when they are on beds.

Square bill cranks and spinners work well this time of year in Texas.
