Seeing a post a couple days ago about the Pere Marquette River in Michigan (Al Vazquez)reminded me of my, ummmmm..... younger years when I used to travel up there fishing. Took some digging to find these, but this was a 43 incher I caught and released. Turned in to the state for Master Angler Award. Even states on the certificate that it was the second largest caught and released in Michigan waters that year (1996). Someone beat me by a quarter inchβΉ.Much younger Robert pictured, no gray in the beard! Lol Didn't have a scale back in the day for the weight.
