Today I nailed a personal bestie!! I mastered my woodland ninja skills and snuck up on a deep cove from the woods where I spotted some mega lunkers lurking around a bluegill spawn bed .....So I tied on my blue gill whopper plopper and cast it out past them... I bounced it off the side of a log and waited till the ripples faded.... I then began a nice slow retrieve, just enough to make some bubbles and disturb the water a bit for about two feet and this green monster slammed my lure so hard.. I had to reel him in faster than I wanted so I didn't get all tied up in the underwater logs.
