Awesome man, I had no idea, yea I was really excited when I saw her jump out of the water haha!! I went back to that spot today but had no luck, I'll try again ...more tonight.

They dumped them...so I heard...off the Pine launch area so it fits that this was one of the monsters from Minsi. Great catch!!!

Lake Minsi is down in Bangor. They are doing repair work on it so they drained it and took all the fish they could...I heard around 8 truck loads and dumped them ...more in Beltsville. I caught a 19" Smallie in almost the exact same spot.

Sorry, I'm somewhat new to the area haha if you pass Pine Run Launch, cross the bridge, take the left into the main swimming area, go to the parking lot to the ...more left next to the soccer fields, park where the trailer parking is closest to the water and walk down that trail, I got her in the first opening on the bank where you can look at the Pine Run Launch, there's a sign right on shore that says "No Wake", that's the exact location. Not even 10ft man, she was in maybe 3 - 4 feet. I caught her on the 8th probably around noonish. What's a Minsi Bass? Never heard of that.

Damn! I Know the area your talking about. On the flats? 10ft of water or so? What day? Trying to figure out if it's a Minsi bass. Sure sounds like it. Nice fish!

Caught in Beltzville, across from the Pine Run Boat Launch along the Preachers Camp Trail, where the main Beltzville picnic area is.
