35.0" Northern Pike caught by Ken Beam fishing on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 11:53

**My 1st Pike of the day....

I`d been scoutin` out some new territory the last couple weeks and decided to use the crappy weather(yesterday Saturday) to my advantage. It was a rather chilly 48 degrees, off and on rain combined with a gusty wind at times........ perfect! No one in their right mind would be out fishing..... yet alone in a `Yak I figured.

Turned out my scoutin` paid off and so did might "weather-strategy" as no another soul was seen on the water the entire day....... I loved it!

I ended up with three really nice Northern Pike, a very nice fat Pickerel and ended the day with a monster Largemouth Bass!
